Circus 2013

A few weeks ago, when a friend suggested we take the kids to the circus, I just knew Savannah and Hudson would love it!  We went last night and the start time was 7:30 {almost bedtime} and the event was an hour from home. I hoped the kids would be able to last through the 2 hour show. And they did great!

We met our friends at Chick-fil-a for a quick dinner and they were all so excited to be together and about the circus.

We got to the circus early because we had been told that we could go on the circus floor for fun festivities. And sure enough, there was a lot going on when we got there! It was crowded, to say the least, but the kids got to have their picture taken with clowns.

The show was called Dragons and the kids really enjoyed it. I was surprised that they seemed more interested in the acrobatic events than the events that had animals. It was all so impressive!

Watching the animals is always amazing. The lions and tigers in this show were a little fiesty, as you can see in some of the pictures. Thankfully, nothing bad happened.

We all had such a good time, especially being there with some friends.
