Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

When Savannah's class went on the pumpkin patch field trip last year, the school year had barely begun and we didn't know anyone too well yet. The weather was pretty cold and windy, but this year was different.

We dropped Hudson off at school {the two-year-old class doesn't go on field trips} and then met Ranly and her momma at a donut shop for breakfast. 

The girls were so excited to spend the day together, of course, and the weather was absolutely perfect! 

Getting to feed the animals is the first thing to do when you enter the pumpkin patch. There are several longhorns, SO many goats, a few sheep and chickens.

Feeding the animals is not something Savannah would even attempt to do. All those goats stretching their necks out through the fence or trying to climb over the top was just too much for her.

Up next was the hayride. 

And that was followed by running around in the hay maze.

Then we just had some picture taking fun and let the girls run and play.

And one last pose together. Savannah had just been stung or bit on the foot by something, so she was in a little pain and done with pictures.

We had such a fun time and I love when we are able to do something special with just Savannah {or just Hudson}.
