Easter Egg Hunting

Caleb's family was getting together in Ennis {nearly a 2 hour drive} on Easter to celebrate the holiday. Thankfully, our church adds a service on Friday night and Saturday night, in addition to the normal three Sunday morning services. This helped us this year because we were able to go to church on Saturday evening and not have to be rushed around all day Sunday.

That being said, we had a little Easter egg hunt at my parents house on Saturday afternoon for Savannah. She already took part in an egg hunt at her MDO program on Thursday and remembered hunting for eggs last year. Sweet little girl was in no hurry to pick up the eggs. She took her time with each one and didn't run around like crazy. Parker and Landon also liked helping her.

It was fun watching her, but she's going to have to be more aggressive with her hunting next year when she will have a little brother and a couple of little cousins joining her on the hunt! For now, Hudson just sat on the sidelines to watch with daddy.

And when it was time to open all of the eggs, Hudson was right there ready to help!

Savannah got more candy than she knew what to do with and lots of fun little prizes, including some Dora house shoes and a stuffed bunny that she was so excited about!

She was one happy little girl and we thank grandma for making the afternoon so much fun!
