When it was time to have these pictures taken, Hudson was {and still is} in full blown teething mode. He's not really fussy, but his hand are constantly in his mouth. Either both index fingers, one on each side of his mouth, or his entire fist! When this is happening, he refuses to take him out of his mouth and drool is usually everywhere. So I thought ahead this time and took some Oragel with me. As soon as we got to our picture location, I gave his little gums a dose of the gel. Our picture time was just after Hudson's nap and he had a good nap! He was as happy as could be and I was relieved.
It had been cold the few days before, but it warmed up to the low 70's today, which was nice. However, it was late afternoon, we were in the shade and the wind was blowing something fierce. Therefore making this 70 degree day feel more like in the 50's. Savannah's little arms were cold. And on top of that, her stomach was upset, so she wasn't feeling 100% which you can see in her smile. =(
Hudson did so good the entire time, but my sweet little Savannah just wasn't herself and wasn't in the picture taking mood. Thankfully, we have a great photographer and she always manages to get such sweet pictures for me!
