The Braddock Bunch: Savannah's Last Day of School {video}

Hudson's last day of school was last Thursday. And I was clueless about it. When I picked him up, his teacher was handing me a lot of "end-of-the-year" type things and that's when I found out it was the last day. I'm sure I was told the date, but must have assumed it was the same as Savannah's. I've known about the last day of school for Savannah for several weeks and knew it would be a day that I went for a class party.

I dropped her off at 9:00, as usual, and then Caleb, Hudson and I all went back at 11:30 to watch her class, along with 2 other classes, sing some songs and get their promotion certificate. Hudson was excited to get to see Savannah, but he also wanted to be where she was...with her class! It was fun trying to keep him from running on the stage.All the kids did such a good job and some were more entertaining to watch than others. Savannah pretty much just kept her eyes on the teacher and seemed very focused. The boy to her right didn't stand still for a second.

This is both 3 year-old classes. Savannah's is only 2 days per week, while the other class is 3 days per week.

Following the little singing performance, each child from the 2 year old class and both 3 year classes were called on stage to receive their "graduation" certificate. Savannah seemed to be very proud about this. And I, of course, forgot to turn on my camera flash.

Once all the certificates were handed out, Savannah's class had a little party back in her classroom. Ms. Amy and Ms. Cheryl had a video made using photos they had taken in class throughout the year. Each student got a copy of the slideshow on a DVD.

Hudson just made himself right at home with Savannah and her classmates. I just know he's going to love going to the same school as his big sister next year.

He's even lovin' on her teacher, Ms. Cheryl!

Savannah was so blessed to have such sweet and caring teachers. They made class so fun for her and loved on her as if she was their own child. We are so very thankful for Ms. Cheryl and Ms. Amy!

Savannah also gained a new best friend through her class this year. She loves Ranly!

This is a fun little review to have. Some of her answers don't seem too accurate to me. Like, cars as her favorite toy? Never. And Toy Story as her favorite move? Yeah right.
