Town Event

This afternoon, we went out to an event that was for our town. Just a gathering open to the public to listen to a live (local) band, enjoy some games and food. A few local businesses were there with food: Bar-B-Que, Pizza, Ice Cream, Snow Cones, etc. Savannah loves being outside and the weather was perfect so we were excited to spend time with other people from our community.

We spent at least the first hour that we were there at the petting zoo. There were so many animals and lots of children wanting to hold or pet them. Goats, chickens, rabbits, a llama, a goose, a baby pig and a pony. Savannah was content just looking at most of them...she pet a few of them. 

Once the concert started, we set up our blanket and chairs on the grass and sat back enjoying the music. It started getting cool once the sun was going down, so we didn't stay late, but it was a nice afternoon out and fun!
