Caleb gets off early (10:30 a.m.) on Friday's, so we took the opportunity to enjoy the perfect March weather and spend a few hours at the zoo. Savannah loves to see the animals and Hudson, well, he just loves being outside no matter what the occasion!
We have three zoos that are all really close enough for us to drive to and spend plenty of time at, but the Frank Buck Zoo is the closest AND the least crowded. It is much smaller than the Dallas Zoo or Ft. Worth Zoo, but it is just the right size for us. Plenty of different animals to see and a huge park with play ground and a mini train to ride. With Hudson's limited wake time, we weren't able to stay long enough to play at the park or ride the train, but it won't be long before we make visiting the Frank Buck Zoo an entire day event!

Savannah did NOT like this big goat and there was no way she was going to stick out her hand to feed him.
Hudson had already stuck his hand out once and it got licked, so he was not sure what to think of this big ol' goat!
