Savannah's Day

Since Hudson's school started back a week earlier than Savannah's did after the Christmas, Caleb and I took advantage of her being an "only child" for a few hours. We decided she could use some quality mommy and daddy time, doing something special with and for just her. We dropped Hudson off for his fun-filled day at school, then Caleb and I took Savannah to a local mall. 

First stop was to Build-A-Bear. At first, she wasn't sure what to think or do. She picked out a bear and then a button to put inside that "giggles" whenever you push it. {I was having camera issues, so some of these 'low-quality" pictures are via my phone}.

Next, she helped stuff the bear and giver her a 'bath' to get all of the fuzzy stuff off.

Then it came time to pick out some clothes to dress the bear. And this is when Savannah really started to have fun! She walked around looking at all the outfits and then "needed" several different ones.

She ended up walking away with a "church dress", a "school outfit" and some "dance clothes" by the time we left.

When we had finished building a bear, she got to do a little shopping. She picked out a scarf and a necklace. 

Then she got to have a ride on the carousel before eating Chick-Fil-A for lunch.

And we topped off out date-day with some ice cream.

Our time with just Savannah went by too fast, but it was so much fun! When we were in the car, headed to pick up Hudson, she said "I had fun with you guys!"
