Saturday Family Time

This evening we went over to Caleb's parents' house for a fish fry. The weather was beautiful, so we spent the first hour outside. Before we left the house, Savannah insisted on wearing her cowgirl boots because she said she had to wear them so she could ride the pony. And riding the pony, Rocket, is the first thing she wanted to do.

Hudson just wanted to watch from a distance for most of the time, but we managed to get him to ride on the pony for a few minutes.

When we finally went inside, the kids had fun playing with their cousin, Jace {he is 4 months younger than Hudson}. And we tried to get a cousin picture, but Jace wasn't too happy about being told to sit for a picture. Even though Savannah tried to cheer him up by giving him a kiss.

 

And Hudson is a goof-ball! He walked around with these play tongs on his face {I think he was trying to act like they were sunglasses}.

Dinner was delicious and it's always fun getting the kids together to play. Savannah thought we needed to take Rocket home. She said, "We can keep her in the garage....and close the door."
