This morning, Caleb brought home a huge box of diapers and a baby scale that his mom had given to us for Savannah. I've been curious about how much Savannah weighs since she was only 4 weeks old last time she was weighed. She will be seven weeks old tomorrow and although I obviously know she's growing (too fast!), I wonder how big she really is now. So, we opened the box and set the scale on the table. It's a really nice scale, complete with 'soothing music' for the baby. With her wiggling around it took a minute to lock in a reading, but there is was...14 lbs!!! Nearly double her birth weight. As much as I just want her to stay little and curl up on my chest, I'm sure this scale will be used on a regular basis.

Do I really want to know?
