The bluebonnets bloomed rather early this year, maybe because we had virtually no winter here in north Texas. As I have done each year since Savannah was born, I had pictures of the kids taken with the pretty flowers a few weeks ago. I know that just about everyone in Texas {especially if you have any children} have their picture taken in the bluebonnets. I wanted to take advantage of another pretty colored flower that bloomed along side the bluebonnets. I have no idea what the name of these flowers are, but the bright yellow is so beautiful to me!
