Fun at the Pumpkin Farms

As I've mentioned before, I love Savannah's new school and the different things she gets to experience. Yesterday her whole school was scheduled to have a field trip to a nearby pumpkin patch. All parents and siblings were also welcome to join the fun and enjoy a sack lunch there, too.

Caleb is off work on Tuesday mornings, so we planned to go with Savannah and her school on the field trip. Hudson attends a separate Mother's Day Out program, so we decided to go ahead and let Hudson go to his program. We thought it would be fun to let Savannah have mommy and daddy all to herself for a few hours. 

We dropped Hudson off at his 'school' and then headed to meet up with Savannah's school at the pumpkin farm. It was a cloudy, windy and rather cool day, so I was glad that we decided to not take Hudson. 

There was a petting zoo, but Savannah didn't want to feed the animals, so daddy did.

We got to go on a little hayride around the areas where the pumpkins grow.

Then, Savannah's favorite part was the maze through the hay bales. 

Savannah did it over and over and over. Watching her run around with the other children, giggling, was so much fun!

We decided it was too cold and windy to eat a picnic lunch outside, so we ended our time at the pumpkin patch by picking out pumpkins to take home.

 

Savannah was one happy girl. It was such a fun morning getting to do this with Savannah. I love that girl SO much!
