Snow Day #2

Temperatures never got out of the teen's today, therefore, the roads are still frozen and we were still stuck in the house. We all slept until about 9:00 this morning, which was nice. Schools were closed and are closed again tomorrow. Caleb closed the office today, but plans to be open his regular hours tomorrow, which are only 3-6pm. The temperatures are still suppose to stay well below freezing tomorrow, but I have high hopes of getting out of the house...to do ANYTHING!

Savannah really has been great these past two days of being home-bound. She has been in a great mood, playing well, napping well, and just over all easy to be "stuck" in the house with. I am very thankful for her good nature.

I did most of the things I "needed" to do yesterday and was completely unmotivated today. Savannah did a little bit of everything today. 

We played with Play-Doh:

We got every toy basket off the shelf and proceeded to empty them:

We played with blocks...stacking and knocking them over:

And then, the best part of the day:

Uncle Jason and Aunt Joy came over for a chili dinner and Uncle Jason played with Savannah a LOT! Savannah showed him all kinds of things in her play room and didn't want to stop playing when it was time to go to bed.


Although we've enjoyed our family time the past two days, we're ready for the ice to melt away so that we can have a change of scenery!
