We were so excited that our pool was finally ready to swim in and we couldn't wait to invite friends over to enjoy it with us. All summer, as Savannah watch the process of the "big pool" being built, she would say "my friends come over and swim in my big pool with me?" So, we planned a little cookout and swim party for Labor Day. Little did we know that it would be way too windy and cool to swim, but we still enjoyed being outside and hanging out with friends. The little kids were tough enough to play on the tanning ledge area of the pool and that was good enough for them!
I didn't get my camera out until the later part of the evening, so I didn't get any pictures of the kids IN the pool. Oh, well. They still had fun playing with water!

Hudson just hung out in his chair watching all the activity. It won't be long before he's right there with the other kiddos playing!
