It was nice going to bed early, but our bed was anything but comfortable. Caleb and I both woke up commenting on how we felt like we slept on a concrete floor. Thankfully, the kids slept great and woke up just before 8 a.m. We all put on our swimsuits before heading down to eat breakfast, so that we could go straight to the beach when we finished eating.
The weather was perfect and we had so much fun playing on the beach and in the water!
The kids had fun burying daddy in the sand.
And then it was Savannah's turn.
Then it was time to wash off all the sand!
Hudson wasn't too sure about the water...
...but he loved playing in the sand!

Savannah just loved it all.
We were having so much fun that no one wanted to go eat lunch. But we did go to the lunch buffet and then back to the room so Hudson could take a nap. After a little rest, we went to swim in the pool and have a refreshing drink!
Staff of the resort brought this iguana near where we were swimming for people to hold and have their picture taken. Of course, you couldn't take your own picture {with it}, you had to buy the pictures they took. There was no way either of our kids would go near that big creature for a picture, but it was fun to watch the other people.
After a fun-filled day in the sun, we cleaned up and got ready for dinner.
Savannah took this picture of Caleb and I. She's becoming quite the little photographer!
