Octopus, anyone?
The food displays were so pretty and all of the food was great! My favorite was desserts. They were all so fancy and yummy looking. I tried almost all of them. Every night. =)
In the evenings, after dinner, we would go to the very large and open auditorium. The broadways shows started too late for the kids {10 p.m.}, but there was always some sort of entertainment beforehand for the kids to participate in.
It took a little convincing to get Savannah to go on stage and join the fun, but Hudson was all about it! They played several different games and one night there was a piñata that each child got to have a turn hitting.
Although Savannah was the shy one in a crowd of people, she became instant friends with two staff members at our resort. The first one was this guy, Fransico.
He was part of the entertainment staff. So in the evening he was in costume for the nightly shows, but also pool-side during the day playing water games with anyone who wanted to participate. Every time Savannah saw him, she'd say "Look! There's my friend." as a big smiled beamed across her face.
The other person Savannah became very fond of was this lady. I have no idea what her name is, but she loved Savannah! I'm not sure if she was some sort of food manager or what. We only saw her at meal times, but we saw her in several of the different eating locations. On our second night there, she complimented Savannah's red shoes. Every time we saw her after that, she wanted to see what cute shoes Savannah was wearing. She loved giving Savannah hugs. We happened to see her just minutes before we left for the airport and she told us to come see her again soon.
